I shaved a part of my back over a month ago and ever since then have noticed small red pimple-like bumps on the area. I haven't shaved the area since then. I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of them or at least know how long it takes for them to go away. Seeing as how its been over a month, I'd really like to get red of them seeing as they are unsightly.

My guess is that you shaved using an upwards motion - shaving against the grain as it were (opposite of how the hair grows). To fix it, shave again, but this time use downward strokes - you may need help on this, but you will be glad you did. After the shaving put Olive Oil on it like a moisturizer everytime you get out of the shower for about a week and it will be good as new.

If you can not get someone to help you with the re-shave, still do the olive oil. It might take a bit longer but it should work if you do it out the shower every time.

Peace!

PS - Hot towel on the olive oil before you get in the shower will work a treat too. I think it is just razor rash, not infected or anything, right?

Probably infected hair follicles--you shaved and then covered the area with a shirt. Antiseptic astringent should help.

Could be Molluscum Contagiosum. I suggest you look it up.

If it is try this stuff called "ZymaDerm." It works really well.

You have folliculitis. Put hot towels on your back. If it is still irritating you, see your health practitioner so they can prescribe an ointment. Do not pick, pluck or touch the area. P.S. IT IS NOT MOLLUSCUM CONTAGIOSUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
