I'm getting my tonsils out Friday and I'm wondering what kind of foods I should eat? I know they should be soft and nothing with edges that could cut my throat and no dairy for the first few days. So what kinds of foods are there?

sherbert, broth, popsicles, you can run just about anything through the food processor to make it soft however some things just dont look right when you do that

Ice Cream, Jello, Pudding things like that. Soft and cold is what you will want.

Popsicles!! Hope it does'nt hurt that much!!{I've had mine out for 3 years and it did'nt hurt that much}

sherbet popsicles etc, anything thats cold and soft watemellon, ripe peaches etc
