winavi _ Any reccomendations?

Can anyone advise me as to whether winavi is OK to convert and burn downloaded movies from the internet, Hope this question makes sense

Yeah, Winavi is the best program to use to convert files as it is so much quicker than all the others. However, i don't suggest burning using Winavi. Use the latest edition of Nero instead as this is great - you can find instructions + download for Nero at dvd-guides.com.
