tough one to call. I wouldn't want to see a return to arms amongst Christian brothers however there are always new heretics popping up calling for holy war. The Catholic church teaches use of reason and stresses this. Frankly I don't see the prevention of fundamentalists however like John Haggee who advocate use of force and use of propaganda to manipulate distort and block open dialogue of reunion.
Prayer and intelligent discussion are powerful allies against such a war. There is a new evangelisation happening in Catholicism so I think it is getting harder and harder for Protestant missionaries to confound and confuse Orthodox Christians into coming over to their side and therefore if it did come down to Catholicism would win simply because Jesus said he would never leave his Church eventhough the Protestants have.
ask me more if you like I'll explain in greater detail

There have been such wars in the past, and it's been a history of winning some and losing some.
No matter how misguided Christians have to be in order to kill each other, God will win in the end.

why? because catholics dominate latin america. and not only are latin americans hot, they are great fighters lol. plus catholics outnumber protestants.
plus look at IRS kicking the protestants in ireland and northern ireland.

Have you been hiding behind a rock or something? What about Ireland... the IRA, etc.? They've been going at it for generations!
Peace be with you.

I hope there won't be one. both religions will be forced under ground for fear of being killed. but if I have to pick an answer, i will guess Catholics. We would say the rosary for peace and mary will intercede for us. Christ will answer by helping.
