I like the sound of "The Wiccan Soldier" as well. I suppose it is now symbolic of two fights. :)
Thumbs up to all of you

I'm very excited about it. I can't imagine how relieved his wife must be. It must have been so painful to have government officials tell you that the symbol wasn't allowed. I mean... it's a recognized religion, but then to deny the symbol. It would be like saying- "We recognize you are a Christian, but we don't want your cross- however, that guy over there... he was a different religion, and we think his symbol is okay."

I'm thrilled it happened, but keep in mind, it is only a partial victory.
The Veterans Admin did NOT approve the Pentacle. The state of Nevada decided that since they paid to maintain the cemetary, they could do it if they wanted.
The VA has STILL NOT made a Decision.
Make sure to write your congress and state reps.
If even Athiests have a symbol (it is NOT a religion, it is LACK of religion) then all religions should have the same consideration.

The pentacle is between the symbols of Wicca. that's a valid faith. It grow to be lined onto the non secular order in 1984 so as that they'd desire to no longer have the skill to disclaim its use yet however this is the federal government and the p.c.. and choose which rights we are in a position to have and which they do in comparison to and till the persons upward thrust up they are going to proceed to accomplish that **If the followers might start to lead the leaders might would desire to start following

We have finally won the battle! Wiccans have been fighting the government on this for some time. I knew we would win sooner or later!

What is wrong with the pentagram?
What you think it is SATANIC? Try again!
Look at my picture! The points mean
EARTH
AIR
FIRE
WATER
SPIRIT!
Perhaps they shouldn't let a cross be on tomb stones! Oh no let that happen and Christians would cry they are picking on us again! BOO HOO!
GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE! YOU ARE NO BETTER THEN ANYONE ELSE!

Yes! I was extremely happy to hear that they finally recognized it. It was the man's religion after all. Not putting his religious sign on his marker was like a giant slap in the face to him, his family, and all of his military brothers and sisters. Who is the government to tell us what to believe or not not believe in.

Fantastic! Everyone deserves to be buried in a way that reflects their faith. Just because Christians disapprove of Wicca doesn't mean that a soldier of that faith should have his or her final rights denied.

I'm not surprised.
But I don't think it would be a pentagram. Wouldn't it be a pentacle?
I have no feelings on it whatsoever, to be quite honest.
