Unless it's a birthmark, it's quite likely a tinea capitus infection: ringworm. Since it's near your eye, that's a problem. You probably want to check with your doctor. But you wouldn't be posting here if that was an easy thing to do.

So, how do you self-treat? Do you have some three-in-one cream? There are a lot of drug-store antifungrals. That's the place to start.

IF: Your lesion has bunched edges, the center of the lesion has dead or dying tissue, it hurts, your vision changes (even slightly), if has crossed your eyebrow moving toward your eye...

THEN: Sorry, you've got to bite the bullet and see a physician.

If it's on your eyelid then don't attempt to pop it as it is a stye and can be very dangerous to do so. If it's just hard and red and on the eyelid it could be a blocked oil gland if it is you should contact your doctor to have it drained. if above the eye try quick spot creams, if these dont work go to your doctor to get some better cream or have it drained or removed

Sudocrem always works for me, i use it for spots, burns, bites etc. Its the best cure about. Its fairly cheap too and lasts for ages, as you only need a very tiny spot of it, which goes a long way. It is not harmful, as it is intended for baby use. Give it a go. I think you'll be suprised. Good Luck.
