They will ticket you if, by the time the camera takes the photo, your plate # is in the photo. Going through yeild doesn't necessarily mean you'll get a ticket!

Any city that has photo radar/cameras must post a signage at the city limits warning people about this. If you get a snap shot of your car with the license plate visible and you ran a "yellow light" then nano seconds after it turns red, the photo is taken. So if you are not completely through the intersection, yes you are guilty of running the red light and need to pay the city/state just as you would as if a law enforcement officer would have seen you and stopped you, but you cant talk your way outta the camera tickets usually!... sometimes officers will give you some slack.

Yes, you will get a ticket. I got one going through a yellow light and it turned red. It was so funny. You can see my face and everything and it says Compton.

In California as long as any part of your car is in the intersection before the light turns red you are OK - as long as you are moving through the intersection
