What do you think?

Adam, I paraphrased. If I were quoting you, I would've put quotation marks around an exact copy/paste of what you'd said.

Actions are what make somebody "evil". Nobody's belief in a God (or lack of belief) is gonna do it.

I'm agnostic (pretty close to atheist).Under most circumstances, I wouldn't hurt a fly because my belief is that you shouldn't impose on other living, sentient beings. No Gods Involved. It just keeps life fairly simple. Matter-of-factly, a good Christian friend once told me I wouldn't burn in hell even though I'm a non-believer because I'm so nice.

Now, take some guy who kills orphans, or beats up old people, or eats puppies. He goes to church every Sunday, Communion; Confession; the whole 9. He legitimitely believes there's a God who gives him absolution for his newest sins(crimes) every Sunday (somewhere between 8AM and 2PM). Because he's a believer, he's a better person than me. He's good or at least less evil than me. What the heck is that?

FYI - I'm not picking on Catholics. I was raised as one, so I know the sacrament names for it. If I knew the names for the Jewish or Islamic versions, I might have used one of those.

Atheists are not tools of the devil and do not represent any evil implications. Just because their faith in God is lacking or even non existant doesn't warrant an evil person. They're no different than anyone else. Some are the nicest people you could ever meet, some will hate you for no apparent reason. This is common ground in any religion/non religious sects, cultures, and nationalities. They can live good righteous lives without religion. It doesn't mean they don't stand a chance of going to heaven. Peace.

He is soooo important that if he is inconvenienced the person doing it is evil? I'm surprised he could fit inside a car with the size of that ego.

As for Adam at least he thinks you're pure evil and not just plain old common evil. He holds you in the highest of disrespect.

I always thought there was something wrong with me. Now that I know that I am evil in its purest form I can go on with my happy life.

Are you sure that adam wasn't being sarcastic?

Edit: Sorry just read his post, I'm wrong again. Two mistakes in 2 minutes, I guess I'm on a roll.

I don't believe anyone knows what the purest form of evil is. They probably wouldn't know if they saw it. Much like we probably wouldn't know God if we saw Him either, much to the chagrin of others.

People are people. They make mistakes. They get led down the wrong paths. It is a part of life, and human nature, not evil.

Would anyone survive the purest form of evil? perhaps that is a better question.

Wow, we are the purest form of evil simply because someone with atheist bumper stickers inconvenienced him a little. Very rational indeed.

No. They are just people who do not yet know God. They are no more evil than anyone else. Satan is the purest form of evil.

No. To be honest to what you can understand is not evil. And they don't need "me" to lead them to God. They only need to have a honest desire to know truth and find it in their own way. A true atheists honest believes there is no God and no amount of religious reasoning is going to persuade them otherwise.
