I'm trying to escape a long term obsession with someone myself, but having OCD prob doesn't help.

Oh boy, have I ever!!!! It was a total waste of my time, energy and emotions! I fell in love with a guy 6yrs ago. he wasnt mine to have, but It was the first time I had been in love and I thought like a romantic naive idiot that love would conquer all! It didnt! Waste of years of my life! Sooooo glad we didnt get together though, as he was soooooo wrong for me!!! But, I didnt see it a that time! Well, actually I did, but still loved him anyway! However, now, Im over it and have found a guy who loves me to bits and treats me like a queen! Its just sad that I wasted those years on someone who was never worthy of me in the first place!

Yeah like 4 months ago but i totally over this guy now he wasn't the person i thought he was

Yes, and it ruined me. It brought me to the brink of madness and changed the shape of my life forever. I wouldn't recommend it and luckily I am no longer in that position. But let me warn you, be prepared to enter a world of madness, stupidity, blindness and emotional danger. Be warned.

yeah i had a dream once bout kelly jones outta the sterophonics and couldnt stop thinking bout him for weeks, i got bad headaches aswell. im over him now though

absolutely but it gets better in time, change the obsession to chocolate or the gym!

i think most people obsess over someone at sometime in their life.....
it leads to a disfunctional relationship though

Yes I am now, over someone else, and im married so its kinda wrong but hey we cant control our emotions!
