Also, could Mike's Hard Lemonade and Smirnoff cause people who drink it to gain weight in their stomach? I don't like beer that much b/c I don't want to gain, but I love the taste of these drinks and am wondering if they could do the same thing to someone's physique that beer can do?

The reason for beer gut of the calories and carbohydrates that are found in beer and the fact that beer drinkers generally consume much more liquid than do wine drinkers. So wine drinkers then would not get that same kind of fat belly.

Its a fact that beers and largers are more fattening than wines. People who drink beer with meals will often complain of bloatedness. A glass of red win with a meal is only around 70 calories and will help break down the food. I hope this has helped :)
