I use to think it was normal I felt secure knowing one was in the area.
Not anymore do I feel safe and secure, after my 1 year old son was hurt by rouge careless officers who could careless . I fear more of cops nowadays who abuse the authority and power granted them.

That is what they are paid for. The cops have to make people feel secure when people see them walk by or drive by. That is there job! It is perfectly normal to feel that way when a cop drives or walks by!

well, it all depends on reputation of police dept. in the city and further, whether u have committed any crime. If police repo's is good and u've nt committed any crime, the smile will be the one which u pass to the cop will be no different from all other smiles.

I believe it's up to the person. If you haven't done anything wrong, then I guess it's okay for you to smile.
But if you're like me and have a "Yossarian Complex" (that is, you feel everyone is out to get you.) , then no. I don't smile when I see a cop, cause I know nothing is wrong and see no point for them to go around the school.

The comments approximately Australia are loopy. They genuinely have been initially a Gun Nut usa and protested while their government needed to take them away. besides the fact that, they have not had a mass capturing in view that 1992 hence and the Australians (even people who protested) will now inform you they experience lots safer. as nicely, no longer all weapons have been taken away; human beings nevertheless have looking rifles and if a bad guy or boogie guy broke into your place, you will possibly nevertheless have the skill to do lots of harm with a looking rifle. My element - do we actual need each American to have get right of entry to to device weapons and sniper rifles? won't have the ability to we restrict particular gun get right of entry to and easily make hand weapons and looking out rifles obtainable? only saying.
