you've known each other for a year so it seems about right. just make sure you're not confusing infatutation with love. the beginning stages of any romantic relationship are exciting and can move quickly so don't make promises you won't be able to keep. it seems a little quick for her to be saying "i love you" after a break up from a year long relationship, so let her be the first to say it next time, so you can be certain its real and not b/c she also wants to get caught up "in love" like you.

dont say it whenver you want to. the word love these days has been tarnished, the definition of love is that you love someone so much that you would be willing to offer up whatever is necissary to make sure that person you love has everything they want in the world. if you are ready to tell her you love her man, it might help to be ready to perpose as well. otherwise stating that you love someone will just throw the beautiful word up in the clouds to once again hit the ground and lose some of its luster. best wishes for you man.

Wait till after you sign a contract as to what you get and what she gets, then when her lawyer and your lawyer agrees to the terms then you say I love you. But you still don't get my Bud light. Seriously love to men is love. Love to women is a company merger with hostile intentions. You like what you have want to keep it? Get a contract not a prenuptial get a iron clad business type contract that says you get this I get that. Otherwise give me your address I will send you a shovel to dig your grave.

omg, i had the same thing happen to me, no lie. i liked this one guy and he had a g/f but liked me. then they split and it got a little confusing. well, first we started say "i love you" to eachother as friends. then we started saying it all the time when we got off the phone.
i don't think it's too soon for you to say it. but i do kind of think it's a little too soon for you two to say it and fully mean it. it will take a while for those words to really have power and true meaning. but don't force meaning into the words. "true love waits"

You will know when the right time is.
Right now your in phase 1 the lovey dovey phase.
phase 2 will be when every little thing she does annoys you, and the same with her.
phase 3 is unconditional love.
Your right on schedule

It's okay to say it when you are sure you feel it, and feel fairly certain they reciprocate your feelings (or something close)...you can say it even if you know the other person doesn't love you, but it makes for an awkward situation.

You did the right thing to tell her you love her if you really do.
It is an amazing wonderful feeling knowing the guy you're with really cares enough to say "I love you " ,first. A girl feels more confident about her guy ,and their relationship. " Real men" always say it first.
