Lotion is good..... but it may burn. Try using Neosporin (antibacterial ointment) to help heal the cuts without all that burning.

Vaseline makes some stuff especially for lips. Or, particularly if your skin is cracked, you might try some neosporin or other antibiotic ointment if it's handy.
Also try using tissues with lotion in them if you don't already. You can blow more and longer before getting raw if you do. Don't listen to the people telling you not to blow. You gotta get that stuff outa there if you want to get well. Try some Mucinex and/or saline nasal spray to help loosen it. Make sure to read the labels of any drugs you take to make sure you don't double-dose. Some prescription drugs are just higher doses of over-the-counter drugs so check them too. Also don't take two things for the same purpose even if they're different drugs.
Don't forget the hot tea and vitamins C & D in moderate amounts.

quite some human beings have counseled vaseline, inspite of the undeniable fact that it's not very sensible in case you preserve having to blow your nostril. I often have this situation and characteristic discovered that using an somewhat moisturizing yet nongreasy lotion looks to artwork quite plenty. i choose to recommend Aveeno as a results of fact it has dimethicone in it that's a epidermis protectant and could no longer make you wreck out or make your epidermis greasy. additionally Aveeno makes an extremely moisturizing hand cream that lasts by handwashings that would artwork properly on the nostril. you choose some thing that is going to take up and stay on the floor yet no longer wipe off each time you blow your nostril. The tissue with lotion is a competent place to initiate too, it will be extra tender on your nostril.

Make sure that you are using tissues that contain Aloe, this will help eliminate some of the irritation. Cool compresses, will help the area feel better, maybe an ice pack, wrapped in a washcloth. The cold helps to constrict the blood vessels. Use a moisturizer that has Aloe - that is the best relief for your skin.

You may not believe me, but the very best thing for that is Blistex cream in the white tube - fix you up in no time. It does not hurt, it is soothing and the smell helps you breath a little better too.
Peace!

Stop blowing your nose. Take anti-biotics. Anti-biotics have to be subscribed so you'll need to go to an emergency room, or your doctor's office and have him prescribe some. As far as getting rid of it in one day, I'm not sure you can. Try some lotion or something on it, but other than that not sure.

Buy a tube of 'Chapstick' and rub that gently on and around the sore areas of your nose, it works well for me when I have a cold.
