It is religion for the simple-minded. For some reason the leadership seems always both very wealthy after a while, and likes to have sex with the church members.

They whip themselves up into an emotional frenzy and wave their hands a lot. This causes some to break down into tears, laugh, shake, mutter gibberish (especially when expected of them), and other things. Usually, the speaker is a fairly charasmatic speaker (hence the name) who is good at whipping people up.

the congregation is whipped into a emotional frenzy, allowing the Devil to take control of their emotions. Where in the Bible does it say this is ok?
