I am not Islamic but I do read the Qur'an once in a while. Can someone show me where in the Qur'an does it say that Muhammad (pbuh) is the Last Prophet?

[33:40] Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Apostle of God, and the Seal of the Prophets: and God has full knowledge of all things.

Surah 33 ayat 40- Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Apostle of Allah and the Last of the prophets; and Allah is cognizant of all things.

The Arabic term for the last of the prophets is khautim nubbi which literally translates to "seal of the prophets"

i am not muslim, but here is the main verse muslims use to claim mohammad was the last prophet..

[33:40] Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Apostle of God, and the SEAL of the Prophets: and God has full knowledge of all things.

however, if you do a more in depth look, 1. he is the seal of the minor prophets and 2. seal can mean many things.

i don't think these verses are saying he was the last prophet.

Allah says in qur'an :
33/[40] Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.

How can a prophet appear after the manifestation of the Son of God Himself?

Doesn't add up, does it ?

What more is there to be revealed than God Himself ?

Mohammed was not in a line of prophets and has no connection with previous prophets, teaching things quite different and contrary to the previous line of prophets. He was one by himself, out of nowhere and with no continuity.

All the prophets of God point to and look forward to God's promised Saviour.

Therefore Mohammed cannot be the "Last Prophet." The last prophet was John the Baptist the announcer of Christ, to make way for and point to the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world.

Mohammed was unable to take away your sin.
