Yes, only $5 - $10. I would contact dell to have your restore cd shipped to you. When you initially buy your laptop/computer in the customize option when you build your computer, sometimes it offeres the disc for free but most times they charge you extra for them to include it. www.support.dell.com

if your computer is under a warranty then you are required to send it in no matter what is wrong with it. but you cannot buy restore disks. i think you're talking about start-up disks. i do not think you can.

dell would want to make more money off you by having you send it to them to fix it. there fore only dell would have the disk required for you.

if you need to restore or make a start up disk you were to make one yourself. theres a simple program that makes one for you. all you need is a cd, floppy, or a flash drive.

you could also have a friend make a startup disk for you also. but not a restore disk. a restore disk or a restore point is only for your computer and is different from each computer.

those are the options you could do.

its always best to get the warranty when you buy any computer. especially the accidential warranty in case you get a virus or somthin goes really wrong.

If your PC didn't come with a Windows XP disk then it is generally setup to restore from a hidden partition on your Hard Drive. Honestly you will have to consult your User Guide for restore procedures to see how to reference the hidden partition.
