There was a time when I'd regularly hear from anti-catholics that the Catholic Church is like Fort Knox and should sell all its Catherdals and church property and close its hospitals, missions, orphanages etc and give all its scared art, literature and archives away, yet today I see more and more multi-millionaire preachers building Mega-church buildings shouldn't they do what the Catholic critics recommend as well?

perhaps Bob but remember I am playing the role of critic here. Are these preacher or are they not running multi-million dollar local congregrations? Where does the bulk of money go besides the bricks and mortar? Do they publish publically yearly financial statements? I know the Catholics do. you should actually be less offended and hot about the shaping of the question and try to contribute to an answer. Just wondering do you belong to one of these mega-church groups?
