A woman is a house wife, she cooks she cleans and she takes care of her children. Don't get me wrong I appreciate this very much and tell her that I appreciate her. However this is never enough, it seems she wants me to get down on my knees and admit that she is god almighty. What is wrong with people like this??

Doing what she does is all she is. she feels she is nothing more than a cook and bottle washer. She needs to be show there is a world out side the home as well. How about a class or two in a local college or vo-tech school. No you should not bow down, she doesn't does she???????????????

What makes a good housewife and mother is difficult to measure since there is not pay to measure her level of performance. Taking care of the family is an important job. How about giving her an allowance to put towards her retirement?

This is called a "chronic complainer"
There is no cure for them. All you can do is keep up with what you are saying and let it go or tell her to stuff it, if she thinks she can do better have at it and walk away from her...maybe she'll take the hint and respect you for someone that does care. Good luck!
