The best thing I have done for this problem is use wax. When I was in Germany it got blistering cold. I bought one of those paraffin wax tubs at the PX (you can get them at WalMart for $19 including wax) and I would soak my feet and then use a calus file and really scrub them down. I'd dip my feet in the warm wax and put a bag (provided with the wax) over them and wait 15 mins. I'd remove the bag with wax and believe it or not-it's not messy at all. My feet were soft and silky and then I'd lotion them up. I'd do this a few times a week then once after my feet got healed. It works good for hands too.

For your fingers, if lotion doesn't help, go to your doctor it get prescription creme.
I have dry feet too, here's what I do. After your bath or shower, rub them really good with a thick lotion, apply a thin layer of Vaseline, then put socks on.Use a pumice stone( i think that's what it's called) on the bottom of your feet once in a while to remove dead skin.
It works for me.
Good luck!

Try Gold Bond Lotion. I wash my hands frequently at my job and tend to get dry, cracked skin. This is the best lotion I have ever used.
If this is a reoccurent problem, you should see your dermatologist. My sister had a problem with dry and cracked skin. It would spread all over her hands and occasionally bleed. Her doctor had to put her on a prescription steriodal cream.
Best wishes.

The thing I do is make sure that I lotion my feet after my shower. Your skin absorbs the lotion better after your shower cause your pores are open. My doctor said that for your heels you can put Vaseline on after the shower and then put socks on so it won't be so messy. As far as hands go I have a constant problem with that also but I just try to lotion everyday.

The problem may be tackled--
# Use some lotion / milk creem / wax / ointment / vessiline......
after bath and before going to bed after washing it properly.
# Use if possible inner gloves / socks.
# Visit some Doctor preferably Homoeopathic / Ayurveda one.
Hope may get quick positive result soon, otherwise put your question again after four / five months giving feedback of what you have done / result.
