Yesterday i was looking back into my old school days and a face suddenly appeared before me.

He was a poor boy. His father was a big drinker indeed and died soon. His mother could hardly manage bread and butter.

She could not pay his school fee for 2 months. She begged headmaster for free education but headmaster apologized and struke off that boy from school.

I still think that that was a justified action by headmaster?

We shouldn't punish the children because of their parents. But like Ibsen's 'Ghosts', the sins of the father are (somtimes) visited upon the children.

It's unfortunate and quite cold, but the school can't be expected to grant free education unless they have a reason that benefits them. In any case, shouldn't it of been possible for that boy to go to a public/free school?
