I have a great idea that might just work for you. Do you have a hair school in your area? Look in your phonebook and call them and ask them what day they do hair. Is usually Thursdays until late in the evening. They are very very cheap and you should be able to get this done at a very low cost. Or you can go to Sallys Beauty Supply and peroxide 10% for highlights or 6% for the whole head. You start with dry hair and brush it in. Sallys sells the brushes and the bowls you need and they are only a dollar. You have to follow the directions exactly. You can not leave peroxide on for long. Then you will need a toner from Sallys. I have to warn you..you could really mess up your hair, burn your scalp, come out orange, or your hair could fall out. I really suggest finding a hair school and go that route. The kids that are learning do hair for cheap and they are monitored by their teacher. They won't screw you up..only thing is it takes them longer so plan out to be there for a while. Good luck and please be careful when bleaching. :)

Yes you can mix shades of the same make. I`ve been doing my hair for ages with 7.0 & 8.0.

I wouldn't add anything that doesn't come in the box with the color (like adding peroxide; that will lighten hair) You can mix two of the same brands of color that are close to what you want to get the desired result though.

NO. Never mix two different shades or brands of hair color together, the results could be drastic. Keep looking, your bound to find a shade you can deal with.......or take the chance and risk your hair falling out, being a completely different color, etc etc.

Of course you can. Just use equal amounts of both and make sure they are of the same brand. Say you use 2 oz of eash color, you add 4oz of developer. Go to your local Sally's. They have a great selection of colors and can give you hints on how to apply it. Since I can't see your hair I can't tell you how to apply it.
