Bound & hubby here:

About 10 years ago, when Ithaca brought back the Mag-10, starting renewed interest in the 10 ga., AyA in Spain manufactured a 10 guage double ... but that is not the case anymore. You can find Browning Pumps in 10 ga., and Remington Semi's in 10 ga., but I think your current desire for a 10ga. bouble is pretty much over!

Sorry!

Pick up a copy of Shotgun News and look for gun dealers who have what you're looking for. Make some phone calls, emails, or whatever it takes to locate the gun. Then, go down to your local gun shop and have the FFL holder order the gun for you. There is usually a small fee for him to do this. I haven't looked at Shotgun News in a few years, but I know that it is usually loaded with advertisements from gun dealers and that you will be able to find a good contact for a 10 gauge double barrel by searching their ads.

Just do a google web search and look for:
10 gauge shotgun double barrel price

When you add "price" - that gets you to the ones that they're selling - instead of old reviews and articles.
You may have to modify it by excluding words by putting a
"-" in from them, such as -accessories -ammo, etc. until you get exactly the results you want.

There are also places where you can sign up to be notified by email when they get in something that you might want. I'll dig that up for you in a bit and add it.
OK. Here's one: http://www.gunsamerica.com/guns

When you find one that you like, purchase it and have it shipped to someone nearby who has a FFL where you can go and pick it up.

Here are some Web sites that will let you search for a dealer that does transfers and also the price ($20 is the typical fee in my area).
I would call the dealer and double-check before ordering.
The dealer will need to fax a copy of his FFL to the company you are buying it from - if they do not have a copy on file already.

10 gauge ammo is readily available around here. Usually got some nice turkey and migratory bird loads.
If you have some particular ammo in mind, you can add it to your shipment (it tends to be a bit on the heavy side, but they'll probably sock you with a $35-$45 minimum for shipping the gun anyway) - so you might as well get whatever else you might want - w/o going over the minimum.

Ok depending on where your at things are different but I live in VA and I have 2 dealers that I can go to that charge 25-50 dollars to do a transfer I can get on Galleryofguns.com order it and have it sent to them or I can just go to the store they'll pull up the site order it and I have to pay a deposit (this is the site not the store) and after they get the gun they do the background check and I pay the rest and there we go. So go ask your locall gun dealer (not walmart) I'm talking an actually gun store and see if they deal with sites like galleryofguns or the like and see if they will let you do the transfer. It's alot cheaper and less hassle

1st of all you do NOT need an ffl to order firearms online, you simply need a local gunshop to act as receiving agent for you, they will need to send a copy of their ffl to the dealer prior to it being shipped. There's usually a fee, 20 to 30 bucks for ffl transfer that you will pay before taking posession of your firearm. I order firearms online several times a year, I don't have an ffl, yet I'm still able to buy, amazing isn't it, what can happen when you get FACTUAL information, and not speculationa and guess work.

I'd start on these 2 websites for 10 gauge shotguns, if no luck there, then go to a local gun store and have them order the one you want from their wholesale catalogs.

If you plan on doing any shooting, you will be very sorry you got a 10ga.

It's a semi-obsolete round, at the very least it's obscure.

Get a 12ga and you can pick up ammo almost anywhere for cheap.

That said, here's my online favs:

www.auctionarms.com

It's easy to buy a firearm online......you MUST have it shipped to a local dealer who usually charges $15 to $25 to do the legal transfer.

10 gauge is obsolete. buy a 12 gauge magnum. But either way, check out www.impactguns.com good prices, big selection, but sometimes the site can be alittle hard to maneuver

Not sure where to find them...
Just thought that i would add that modern 12 guage that accept magnum loads are better than 10ga. What I mean is anything the 10 can do the 12 can do better, this is not my opinion this is a balistic fact.

You don't want to buy online because then you have to deal with the laws pertaining to sales of firearms over state lines and that is a hassle. What you want to do is purchase the gun locally. Any gun store can order this for you and have it for pick up in a few short days. A gun show will also likely have these available to buy.

10 gauge double, huh? Have fun recuperating from your dislocated shoulder when you let off both barrels at once...
