I live, forgive, and accept others as they are. I try to be the best person I can be, and attempt to love the "unlovable". I try to understand others point of view, to understand why they feel the way they feel. I cannot be categorized in my beliefs, since they are uniquely mine, and no reflection on any religious organization. I was raised Catholic but have tasted the fruit from the tree of knowledge, and suspect there is no one true religion. Or at least I haven't found one. I find certain tenants from all religions to be true. This is who I am.

Perhaps it's not necessary to talk about religion at all, just to live it. Especially with a religion like Buddhism, that doesn't require its followers to go out and proselytize! I think the important thing is living it.

Matthew 25 (New King James Version)
31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
I am a Christian, therefore I follow the teachings of Christ
I am hooked up with a group which does all the above

Aye, there's the rub. But then again, some "beliefs" seem to require very little by way of doing. I know of one that actually warns you not to think your acts can get you where you want to go.
My credo goes the other way. I hope we promote justice and learning, assist where we can, and prepare ourselves so that we can accomplish some of those things. And after that, people can believe anything they want, as long as it's not in the way of human progress. (Oh yes, I will definitely oppose the promotion anti-human trends and policies in any forum.)

I don't know. I try to follow Jesus teaching, but fail often. I will ask at work, if they see any Roman Catholic ness in me. I won't think so.
I also do not profess what I don't know. So rarely talk religiously.
I ask good questions of others...
I ha want to defend myself - but can't! YOU!!!
OOOH! Now I'm all thinking, I was happier before I read your question!!

words mean nothing without action. The true practice of the Christian faith is not just to tell others about it with words, its to LIVE it so they will know the LOVE of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
To my experience, most people who talk about their belief system, also live by it. It doesn't mean they never slip up, we all make mistakes. Why would anyone just talk?

It isn't the easiest thing in the world to do, but, I do try to live my belief system. However, I can't do it on my own. I need GOD to guide me and help me make the right decisions in my life.

I believe knowledge tested in the fire of life brings forth wisdom and with wisdom comes power. If there is no knowledge there is no reason for life.
