nissan figaro radio expander?

hi i have brought a cd radio for my nissan figaro it comes with a raido expander i know where 2 of the wires go but 1 needs to be conected to a live where is this can someone explane what i am looking for thanks

To answer your question you have 2 12 volts cables going into your stereo. The 1st is a constant supply and the 2nd is a switched (via the ignition) 12v. If your not sure which is which either use a volt meter or a electricians screwdriver.

If this a Figaro unit then unless it has been refurbished the CD unit is likely to fail. Clarion offer a repair service from repairing the CD part to a complete replacement unit
