hopefully you have some other place to put your dogs for a few days, because what you need to do is hose the dirt down.
if that doesnt work you are going to have to turn it.
(dig it up and pat it back down)
or you could put fresh dirt down.

in the mean time you might want to consider up grading your kennel to a cement slab (partly) because it is alot easier to clean

Doggie jails are hard to maintain.
The shelter where I volunteer has outdoor kennels that use hay in the pins. It gets raked out every few days. How you would dispose of the soiled hay depends on your location. The dogs come inside at night to a concrete pin with bedding. It is smelly work. I prefer one ultra pampered indoor pooch.

Getting the urine and fecal odor out of dirt can be done in the same way you get the odor out of carpet and upholstery. Better yet, there is a product that you can buy on the web that goes in their food and eliminates the smell before it begins! Try this stuff:

Get rid of the dogs.

Just kidding. I love dogs, but they do smell bad. I would say that you should get them out of there for a day or two and hose it down, let it dry up and it should be better for awhile.

Go to a horse supply store. They should have oder control pellets made for use in horse stalls that work real well.
Remember that any product that has a smell cannot remove a smell,,,,, it can only mask it or dilute it..

why don't you just put them in your backyard, that's where i keep mine just have to make sure they have enough food and especially water. I never smell anything at all with my dog back there, even when i'm back there.
