All prophecy in the Bible I believe. People who say they prophesy today, well I don't think there is any more need for that. The Bible pretty well has it all right up the the new system of things. There is still unfulfilled prophecy yet to happen from the Bible.

2 Peter 1:20 & 21: "For YOU know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation. 21 For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit."

1 Corinthians 13: 8-10: " Love never fails. But whether there are [gifts of] prophesying, they will be done away with; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will be done away with. 9 For we have partial knowledge and we prophesy partially; 10 but when that which is complete arrives, that which is partial will be done away with.

I feel that people who seriously believe that "The End of Days will happen in our lifetimes" ought to be systematically assured of the fact by being rounded up and slaughtered, so that the remaining sane human beings can exist in something more closely resembling peace on earth. Call it a fulfillment of the prophecy!

Then we have this gem: "Were living it now, in many books of the Bible especially Revelation, describes our world today. From Wars (Iraq) to Disease (AIDS). It tells us that it will only get worse until His Majesty's 2nd coming."

A few centuries ago you'd have said "From Wars (Thirty Years' War) to Disease (Plague and Pox)." People with ideas like these will never get to anywhere but lunatic asylums and churches.

We desperately need prophecy! We need it to prepare ourselves for the end of time. The world is a very volatile place. The bible speaks of an end with vivid details.

Well prophecy is still around, but revelation ended with the conclusion of the Bible, so today prophets proclaim what the Spirit of God shows them out of the Bible since God does not speak directly to humans anymore. That is why the Bible says to prophesy according to the measure of your faith, and Romans says that faith comes from hearing and hearing from the Word of God.

It shall come to pass as it is written.

Whether you accept, need, or believe it.

1) Most of it is phoney-baloney

2) Only if it aligns itself with Holy Scripture.

3) No. Scripture is complete...and it contains "all things necessary for salvation" (St. Augustine said that).

4) I don't. Not unless I check it out against Scripture, Tradition and Reason.
