I've been split from my ex for three months now, and last night i bumped into him while i was in a bar - he was with his mates, i was with mine. I smiled and said hi to him, wary the new girlfriend might be lurking around somewhere, so it was civil. He later txt me after i got home apologising for ignoring me (which he didn't really)?? We ended up txt for a few hours, catching up on what we'd been doing...and to cut a long story short he came over to my place. You can guess what we got up to! My ex has always maintained he doesn't do cheating, so why is he sleeping with me all of a sudden when he's supposedly getting to know his new Mrs?? He txt after he left apologising for "hurting" me, but that he has no regrets. What does it all mean (is it a cake-and-eating-it situation??) Help me pleeeease!

He was on to a good thing when he saw you and buttered you up with texts because he was hoping to have sex. After he text you to apologise for 'hurting' you because of his over inflated ego and because he has no intentions of getting back with you and assumed you would be hurt. Move on and forget about him again and don't be so gullible next time. He cheated on his new girlfriend - would you want that done to you?

You'd probably both been drinking enough that your inhibitions and judgement were loosened up and you both fell into the passion of the moment. You felt a great need for connection and he for good "release." He sweet-talked you a little and voila, **** happens.

You should HAVE NEVER let him come to your place nor should you have screwed him. He now knows he can have you whenever he wants. Yes of course hes having his cake and eating it too. I hope you dont ever do that again with any man you have broken up with.

he mises you. be his friend right now and if you want him back, now is the time to get him. hes confused and unsure, you might want to really talk to him on the phone though when asking him how he feels.....
you reminded him of how pretty you were when you guys frist met, dont blame him if he just wanted a hook up, and dont blame him if he wants something more.
think about what you want, then call him up.
good luck!

too much texting and not enough face to face conversation I think.

go stay at his place for a week or so, then when his girlfriend calls see how he handles it. They you would know for sure.
