Jesus states hundreds of times he is the son of God, and that God sent him to earth and that even God knows things which the son does not. If you can't understand that, maybe you have a low IQ?

Could be. Or they have been thoroughly deceived. The fact of the matter is that Jesus called himself the Son of God, not God. (John 10:36; Luke 22:70) Not only did he call himself the Son of God, but others did too. And not all of them were his friends:

Peter--John 6:69
Martha--John 11:27
John--20:31
A Roman officer--Matt. 27:54
His enemies who were present at his execution--Matt. 27:43

It's interesting to note that the demons (who would be in a position to know his origin and status) never refer to Jesus as God, but always call him the "son of God" or the "son of the Most High God":

Matthew 8:29 And suddenly they cried out, saying, "What have we to do with you, Jesus, you Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?"

Mark 3:11 And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw him [Jesus], fell down before him and cried out, saying, "You are the Son of God."

Mark 5:7 And he cried out with a loud voice and said, "What have I to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore you by God that you do not torment me."

Luke 4:41 And demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, "You are the Christ, the Son of God!" And he, rebuking them, did not allow them to speak, for they knew that he was the Christ.

Luke 8:28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, "What have I to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, do not torment me!"

The Bible is clear about who Jesus is. He is not God, but the Son of God. Not everyone will accept that, but it changes nothing.

So, which is it? In the question you say that believing in Jesus might mean you have a low IQ, and in the details, you seem to say that not believing in Jesus means a low IQ? Which point are you trying to make, as they are conflicting?

Personally I don't believe in Jesus as the only Son of God, and I believe we all are.

Secondly, Jesus said NOTHING in th Bible hundreds of times. Go count for yourself.

Lastly, I have an IQ above 140, and don't believe in Christianity, so I don't know what that does to your argument.

Peace and Light.

This seems to be one of those famous "contradictions" in the Bible that unbelievers like to talk about.

Indeed, Jesus did say the Father is greater than He is, while also saying that He and the Father are one, or the same.

But it's not a contradiction, just one of those great Bible truths that is far too deep for any human mind like ours to fully grasp.

We are all made up of three parts, our body, soul and spirit, yet we are still just one person. Our body is our physical being, our spirit is our reasoning being or our mind, and our soul is our emotional being, or our heart. Only death separates the soul and spirit from the body, and all will be reunited in the resurrection.

We speak in those terms all the time, as in being divided by our head and heart over some matter, or being between our flesh and our spirit, as in "the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak."

I can't explain how we can be three separate and different parts of the same person, while all being the same person, but there it is. And that's who the Godhead is, God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; three persons, yet all three are one.

If you don't believe that Jesus is God you will die in your sins.
1 John 5:7 There are three that bear record in heaven, the Father The Son & the Holy Ghost & these three are ONE.
Thomas said show us the Father.Jesus said Thomas, have I been with you so long & you still don't know me.
Jesus said I & the Father are one.
In the O.T. he is called God quite a few times, especially in Psalms.

Let's not go through this one again please. It's a blatant insult to people who believe in things that you don't. Not everyone who follows any religion suffers from a low IQ. Studies have shown there may be a correlation between the importance of religion to an individual and their IQ score, but let's not fly off the handle with that and call everyone who believes an idiot.

Why not use this time constructively to find problems in the holy texts or beliefs and bring them up in here for discussion? Let's keep the discussion intelligent... When someone posts a question like this it makes me wonder about their IQ.

IQ tests calculate a person's ability on the basis of language, mathematical, analytical, logical skills etc. Religion and belief in god calls for a leap of faith. Neither is right or wrong per say. But when people are not open to new ideas and would rather be stuck in primitive beliefs it leads people to believe you are primitive and less intelligent! It is all about perceptions. If your beliefs bring you happiness and aslong as you don't try to force them on other individuals as the only way to live, everyone is welcome to lead the kinda life they want!

God the Father and His son Jesus Christ (in the flesh & spirit)
are two sperate beings. Their purpose is one. Yes are both refured to as God.
Why did you delete your last question about worshiping God and you could feel Satan angry at you? I had a really good answer.

I do believe Jesus is God's Son, but for those who say otherwise, I think it's far-fetched to say they have low IQs. People just need to read the whole Bible to figure it out.

This is a difficult thing to explain and to understand.
God is father son and spirit.
It's a hard concept to wrap your brain around.
Doesn't mean someone has a low IQ.
We must be careful not to offend others.
This is dangerous.
God wants us to learn to live in harmony and love each other.
He wants us to meet each other where the other person is and try to bring them to where you are.
This is duty.
Peace, joy, and love!!
