I know this isn't a question that really has an answer, but so many people on here seem to have misconceptions about the the Jewish opinion of Judaism. Is it because yahoo answers is a likely place for these people to go and thus that opinion looks more common than it really is?

crao I made some typos in there, I wrote Judaism wheni meant to say Jesus.

But no it is not a blanket statement as i do not characterize any particular group of people in anyway.

And anyone who believes in Jesus may be a Jew by birth but certainly not by practice.

saying you know many Jews who believe in Jesus is like saying you know many Christians who are also Muslim.

A lot of people just don't know much about Judaism. It isn't malicious - its just a lack of knowledge. There are a lot of places in the world that do not have a large Jewish population. Judaism and its tenets aren't always reported on a lot in the popular media, either. The result is that many Christians really don't know what other religions believe (or don't believe) about Jesus. When the Ill-informed are pastors, often that spreads misconceptions far and wide.

A real answer, by the way, does necessitate a real question, something you yourself have indicated you don't really have here.

The word Jew is the name of a race. A slim few are Christians Most are pretty secular and then there the Zionist which are actually Khazars (from middle Asia or Russia) who are not genetically related and who have been a warrior sect as long as anyone can remember and want a home land so are using the true Jews heritage as an excuse to get one, then there are the true Jews who mostly study the Torah (first 5 books in the Bible) and Talmud (commentary and tradition), both good books but no Jesus, they are still waiting for their Messiah. Many of these do not believe they should have a home land and sort of shun the Zionists.

Not all people who are believers are ignorant either did you know that.

you will only find limited info on such a site as this, keep this in mind.
By the way, Orthodox Jews believe in His existence and great deeds, but not that He was The Messiah, they are still awaiting.
Messianic Jews fully believe in Him,realizing the Torah ends where the New Testament begins fitting perfectly together.

You can't make a blanket statement like that because I know of a good many Jewish people who have accepted Jesus as their personal savior. Praise the Lord!!

They don't even understand that atheists don't believe in gods, either.

They'd rather believe that everybody, deep down, thinks they are right. Admitting that others have and are happy with their worldviews is contradictory to their beliefs.

yup...and to prove it they tortured him and nailed him to a cross because he tried to tell them who is is. All because they thought that the Savior to come was going to be a great fighter and kill all their enemies...(so I've been told).
