Did you notice that there where NO "teacup" ANYTHINGS? That were NO"Chinese" pugs or "French" Poodles ? Or "english"/"british" Bulldogs?

See that NONE of the coated breeds were BUZZED?

That NONE were in harness?

None were dragging their handlers or fouling the ring or barking non-stop or fighting ?

If you watch the rest of the groups tonight, you'll note-amongst all the other facts-that there WON'T be any "pitbulls" in the Terrier Group. Or ..."miniature" St. Bernards in the Working Group,either.-LOL!!

No Teacups? But I thought that these were SPECIAL AKC dogs! I wonder why the owners of all these SPECIAL dogs weren't lined up to show off their 'unique' babies! LOL

Did you notice, though, with the final Group in the ring last night, the Sporting judge started hurrying the dogs through about 1/2 way into the field? The dogs weren't stopped to see how well they came together after the down-and-back, and the judge just barely went over them on the physical inspection.

My opinion was the judge was told to hurry due to tv time. The first half of the class was normal, the second done in such a rush that the handlers looked baffled!

If my dog were one of the final half, I would lodge a complaint with AKC and with Animal Planet. You can't hurry along a sporting event just because it might run over by a few minutes! Imagine something like this happening at a football or baseball game!

Ok, you may be right, but you can't tell me that all of those dog owners were actually able to NAME the dogs themselves! You can't do that without Yahoo! Answers! I'm sure they also came on this website to learn how to show, handle, and groom those dogs as well. How lucky they are to have such a great resource!

On another note, and in all seriousness, give it to the judges for giving us third place! We're moving up in the world, by God! And in the working group!

So you think if a breed isn't recognized by the AKC then it's not a breed at all, right? Now that seems a bit closed minded to me. The AKC isn't the only reputable breed registry out there.
