Basically I agree with Travis. I have a Sony Bravia myself.
I would not recommend off-brand tv's due to service and parts availability issues. That said, Vizio seems to get pretty good reviews from owners as far as picture quality is concerned. LG supplies the glass for their set. There apparently is some issues with fan noise. Check out this forum thread that has 60 entries related to the Vizio. If you are seriously interesting in purchasing a Vizio you will find it interesting and informative.

I guess if it's down to a choice between the just Westinghouse and Visio I would go with Westinghouse which you might stand a better chance on down the road service and parts availablity than Visio.

i love mine and at the price you cant compare the others. the only downfall is the speakers suck... have to have stereo on or it drives me nuts.
