as long as you are comfortable with your silverware it shouldn't matter to anyone else, if it does they have a serious case of cranial-anal disease and need to get a life!

This one is dependant upon the country of origin. In some, the knife and fork is held - one in each hand. In some cultures, the knife is picked up to cut meat and the fork transfered to the left hand during the process. Then the knife is put down and the fork is again transferred and used to pick up the food.

Proper manners in the US dictate that everyone, no matter whhat hand they prefer, should cut their food with the knife in their right hand and the fork in their left, then move the fork to the right hand (right-side-up) and put down the knife while taking a bite. In europe, most keep the fork in the left hand after cutting and put it in their mouth upside down.

It's a good thing to know as some people can take affront to you doing it "your own way" usually unfortunately, these are people that you don't want to tick off.

Don't be angry and nervous because of your so called friend, sometimes I do the same thing, I could careless what other people will say, it could be wrong for other people but right for other. In this society,we don't know what is wrong and what is right. Sometimes it is better to eat with your hand.

It's normal for you. I personally use a knife in my right hand and I am right handed.

I suppose it is down to what you have available, two hands, two utensils, one in each hand seems the right thing to me.
It has never bothered me what hand you use to eat your food, with the exception of chicken or turkey on the bone where it is acceptable to use your hands.

I don't think it is. I don't find it abnormal. Unless every lunch and dinner you have you have it in a formal setting, I don't even think people notice much about it.

Unless you're dining with the queen of England or something, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Your friend sounds... um....interesting (read: possibly psycho?). Our culture could use a etiquette boost, but we should start with saying "thank you" "please" and "excuse me" on occasion before we get into proper silverware use.
