Victory has nothing to do with religion.

In all cases Iraq will lose if there is a civil war.

As it stands at the moment the only winner in Iraq's Civil War will be the governments and business interests that have played Shiite against Sunni against Kurd while they get their operations set up.

There is no Iraq anymore.

Most likely the Shiites immigrate to Iran and make it bigger. There will be a Kurdish state. And the Sunni's will be absorbed into the rest of the bordering Sunni countries.

Since I am pretty sure we will be leaving Iraq soon it will be the group willing to murder the most innocent people that will win. Saddam killed a million people (men woman and children) but our early pull-out will kill even more millions.

I think there will end up being a proven loser but I doubt it will have anything to do with right or wrong, it will have to do with who suffered less casualties and obtained dominance over the other. Whoever has the most money and power when it is over will be declared the winner, when in all honesty we all lose.

There isn;t one. No matter who "wins" (if such a thing is possible) they are unlikely to be friendly to the US or anybody else. The winner will be the one with the most resources and the most determined (fanatical) fighters.

NO, because it was never a religious war, it was a war by SOME shiiets to get politically ahead, and get the govt. Religious people, and I don`t care what religion, DONOT KILL just to come to power.
so whoever gets the power now, will be wiped off soon by opponents, and for sure by our Govt. if they didn`t do what we wanted them to do, cause we are there not only for freedom but for you know what..

There is no ''right'' group. There may be a 3 way division of the country. But, who knows. Iran will take over before it is over.

Who is "right"? What a mess over there! I hope and pray that there is a peaceful resolution soon, with a government that is people-friendly.
