No this would not offend a man. When a man compliments a woman, he is not looking for the same. He would be thrilled with a Thankyou and smile.

No, a real man would not, an immature boy walking around pretending to be a man would. Here's why:

A sincere compliment is given without expectation or reciprocation. No strings attached.

An insincere compliment is given in hopes of gaining back something, a compliment, a date, a phone number, whatever.

Insincere compliments are the tools of the immature in hopes of gaining leverage or to manipulate. A mature man is simply speaking his mind or wishing someone a little affirmation....

Not at all. I WOULD be offended if she didn't say 'thank you' however. In fact if I complimented a beautiful layd and she accepted it and never acknowledged it with a thank you she would never hear another compliment from em ever.
