I mean it is a lot of trouble.Might even take longer than the actual act itself.I just don't want to be discourteous.What is the proper etiquette?

It depends on where you are having sex. If it is outside, standing up, then no. If it is at home in a bed I would def. take off the shoes. The socks are up to you.

Well, it can't be wild if you have "Nike's" on (lol).
The socks are cool though. I guess the most proper etiquette w/b to if you go to her place or vice versa, Get comfortable by taking off your shoes ahead of time. That way, when it's time, it's already done.

There is this old Hungarian technique of flipping the shoes and socks off in one flamboyant motion. You have to click your heels and do some twists and flips but it works. Saves me a good whole 10 and a half seconds. 10 and a half seconds of lovin....

Yes you should take them off IF you are in the bed having some long sex. But if you are in a hurry and just trying to get a quickie somewhere other than the bed then its ok to leave them on. Its really not a big deal.

If I were you I wouldn't bother taking 'em off. Making love should be slow & easy , I suggest reading up some on Dr Ruth or the like, on premature ejaculation.

Probably not if it's a quickie. I think you should if you really love her and you are making love to her. Lovemaking requires time. Sex don't!
