It should be easy as long as you take a few lessons with an instructor. I learned to ski when I was 4 or 5 and I really enjoyed it. You just have to be patient with yourself and you can't be afraid of falling because it will happen a lot at first. I hope you enjoy skiing.

It's not hard. The main thing is to learn to fall properly. Sounds wierd, but it can save your life ( or your limbs) when you are first learning. Make sure and get an instructor for the first time out. There are a lot of little things, like making sure your boots fit properly and are mounted to your skis properly. It will be worth the time it takes to get professional instruction. All the ski resorts offer instruction. Have fun! You will love it!

The beautiful thing about skiing is that with modern equipment and teaching methods you can begin to have fun skiing on the first day and then enjoy continuing to progress over the years as your experience and skills improve. It is not a sport where you quickly reach your peak and get bored!

I depends on your sense of balance mostly.

If you can do rollersking or ice skating, just rent some skis and spend a few days on the beginner slopes.

It is good to have somebody teach you though. An uncle of mine (unrelated) brought me a few times before I got the hang of it. I only go once every few years but I'm a good skier.

For me? Impossible -
I grew up in FL, and being in the cold is a miserable time . . .
you may find the same thing, now that you are grown, and just beginning to learn about 'snow'. . .
Good luck, though.
