definately two. they keep each other company and the way they will play, wrestle and stalk each other around the house is hillarious. getting them at the same time when they are young would be best.

Depends on what you can afford and alot on what you want the cat for.
2 will have each other for playmates, good thing. If you are wanting the cat to absolutely bond w you and be a buddy buddy... having a second cat will tend to deter that.
Siamese and related breeds are very very social creatures. If you are going to be gone alot from the house and not able to take the cat with you-a second cat would be a good idea regardless of what breed the cats are.
If you get a Siamese type and will be away from home/cat.. get a second one. Some cats, even non Siamese, will get depressed from the isolation to the point of illness if the owner isn't home much.
Then again,,, watching the 2 tumble and race around is very entertaining!!!

Well if you are talking about getting 1 cat or getting 2 well than it depends of what you want.I mean if you would like to get 2 then the cats are going to be more happy. And also if you are getting 2 than remember to get 2 kittens not grown ups because they're doing to fight because they don't know each other. And if you get 2 that means more money to spend on.I mean twice the good and more care. Now lets talk about getting 1 cat! well i have one and i love her shes my little papered cat. I mean if you want to get 1 that means a little less money but then make sure you play with the cat because she's ganna want to play! So to answer your ? i would say get 2 so then they're going to be more happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cats are such good companions. They love to be rubbed and lay in youre lap. I have 3 cats and I really love them a lot. Make sure that you are not allergic to them. So go for two, you won't be sorry.

If you get them as kittens from the same litter, they should be fine with each other, as they'll grow up together.
But introducing two random adult cats is not so good. They will probably fight... and one will dominate the other..

do you want the kitty to bond with you?--1 kitty. if you want the kitty to bond with another kitty amnd leave you more or less alone, then get two kitties.
with one--you are the litter mate, momms and chew toy and play coordinator.
with 2 kitties, they chew on each other, play with each other and cuddle with each other.
the solo kitty cuddles with the human
your choice--depends upon what kind of kitty bondig you want to do.
