You won't be able to get the baby away from the mom unless she is a terrible mother. Some states have grandparents rights where you can get visitation but not sure about siblings. If your grandparents are still alive they might be able to petition for visitation rights. They are similar to that of divorced parents. Maybe call a lawyer or better yet try to get along with the mother.

you do have rights if you want to get custody you will have to prove the mother unfit. If the mother smokes and you dont that will give you a little edge stuff like that and drugs and drinking all that good stuff another thing to look at is her mental health if she is depressed or anthing like that or her past work history every little thing that you know write it down it will all build a bigger and better picture for the judge to see ( aslo consult a fathers rights group ) If at the least you will be able to get visitation rights.

You probably can't get custody unless you can prove the mother is unfit. But perhaps you can get visitation. Especially since you are the baby's half-sibling. It would be worth talking with a lawyer, or an organization that supports minority rights.

The mother should have custody unless she is unfit. You should have access to see the baby. The best thing you can do is try to get along with the mother. It sounds like you don't get along. Do it for the baby, and get over your anger. I'm sorry about your dad.

No, you have no rights at all. Only the mother has rights, and it's up to her to decide if she lets the family see the baby.
