The best way to keep fit is to exercise. The best exercises are walking and swimming. However, any healthy exercise is good. The main things to cut out of your diet are fats, sugars and salts. Starches should be at a minimum. Main foods should be low fat proteins, fruits and vegetables (variety). Eating small meals and snacks throughout the day is best, instead of three larger meals. Drinking mostly water. Get enough sleep. Taking a multivitamin is also beneficial. Avoiding negative people and aiming for a consistent positive attitude. :) I have followed these guidelines and rarely even catch a cold and feel great. Good Luck :-)

Exercise, eat right and stay active. The older you get see your doctor more often.

Exercise. Find a regiment that suits you and focuses on your goals. Is your goal to loose weight or just remain the way you are now. There are plenty of websites you can go to that can help.

Eat right. Stay away from fatty foods, junk food and processed foods. Stay away from carbonated beverages and anything with aspartame (NutraSweet) in it. The buzz word these days are Low Glycemic. You can find out more by going to www.glycemic index.com.

Stay active. Keep your mind as well as your body moving. Grow the mind and you will stay healthy. I like to think the mind is a muscle and to keep it fit it needs exercise too.

Find a good doctor and stay with it. A good doctor can find things early in development and can let you know before it is too late.

Good Luck.

Eat only healthy food. Have fruits and vegetables regularly. Do not eat between meals. Junk junk food. Eat a mixed diet (vegetarian and non-vegetarian). Keep your weight under check (a weighing scale is a best investment one can make to keep body weight in check). Exercise regularly. If you have to go short distances, walk - don't use vehicles. Do not drink alcohol or smoke or take drugs. Keep your disposition pleasant and happy. Minimise stress in your life. Have regular bath everyday. Once a year have a physical check-up by your family doctor. Also check your BP, cholesterol, triglycerides, homocisteine to keep off any cardiac problems. Get at least 7 hours of sleep nightly. Above all, enjoy life. Oops, I forgot to mention : do not indulge in promiscuous sex - it can lead to very serious trouble nowadays.
