Let your grades be your guide. This is what I do with my children. Set a standard based on your future goals. If you meet the standard and have extra time feel free to socialize (with your parents consent of course). If you're having trouble meeting the standard, less friends, less extra-curricular activities, more study time. The standard for my children is coursework from the high school college track with no "C"s on any report card.

You should take your CAPS LOCK off first, and stop yelling at us.

Second, you should do what works for you...if dating is going to negatively affect your studies then I'd say stick with just the studies...if you can do both successfully then go for it...

Either way, you'll have plenty of time to date when studies are over...so dating needn't be a priority...

concentrate on your studies, doesnt mean become a hermit and stay locked in your room for the next few years, but your school work is the key to making you a success when you do leave school & look for a job so its very important, but just go out with your mates once a week & at the weekend, if you do your homework in the week you'll have less to do on the weekend meaning you can enjoy yourself, dont be pressurised by your mates, encourage them to do the same!! good luck & when you are earning your millions think of me!! XX

You should do studies. Looking at your question, you have no eye for detail. You should have checked and then you would have known caps lock was on. Very careless. Only suitable for the meat market (minimuum wager) when you leave school, if you carry on like this) :-)

concentrate more on studies. believe me. you want to have a good enough gpa to go to a decent college so you can get an education and a skill set to secure a well paying job. then you can party like crazy. do it now, or you will end up saying "you wanna make that a value meal?" for the rest of your life....I know I am glad I went to college and made it a priority. you can party, totally, just not more than you study.

I'm 35 & wish I would of done more in school & not so much about guys. It's hard for me to get a job cause I learned nothing & barely got by. College I let it go cause I fell in love & I have 3 boys that I can't even help with school work. So you think of that the next time you think of putting off learning for a girl.

Definately studies at 14, but even when you get older you should only do both when one won't distract you from the other...that will probably be later than you'll expect because us guys have a little less going on "up-stairs" if you will, lol.

do both, just coz you have a gf, doesnt mean you cant leave some time for studies. if u feel like you are behind with work even without a gf, then leave it but generally it should be alrite to juggle both. concentrate on your studies when you really need to
