(This is my opinion and beliefs) There is One God. There are many gods. I think you got your "G's" backwards in the question. I cannot meet God face to face until I die. And I don't "start telling people" about it unless they ask, like you just did. And I don't pretend to "know" God, as God is not completely knowable. He is still a mystery, but that doesn't change my wanting to learn and "know" more, and to follow His path. What makes God divine is the fact that He's God, the creator of the universe. And I don't call Him "my" God, either. He's God. period.

There is only one true God, who declares himself to be divine by His own Word. When I mention God, I am referring to God the Father (of His Son). I have actually met God face to face through His own Son to the extent one can see God and not die. His Son did what God required to introduce us. If you do not meet God while you are physically alive, you will meet Him after you die. At that point, all men will wish they had met Him before they died.

you seem lower than the concept god has no needs or needs. god created the angels as ideal servants to understand him and to have as a bar or purpose for his next creations. human beings were created with free will, why you ask because if we were made with out it then our worship of him is hollow and valueless so sure god knew that putting the tree of information there became probable to our detriment yet purely after we truly had a decision might want to the worship we provide him be organic and useful. now the authentic question you ought to have requested is why does god favor worship. it really is one the secret's of god i'd wager. the bible purely says god needs it. I imagine in case you or I were god then we would pick that too. its the purely element of cost once you comprehend each and every thing, created each and every thing, and created time so that you're outdoors its effect. the way i look into it really is god created free will for outcomes. he already knows the answer to those although the actual incontrovertible actuality that results of determination take position in any respect pleases god i'd imagine.

I suspect the number is the same as the number of people that can fog a mirror - give or take a few.

It strikes me as odd that the Christian god said "you shall have no other gods before me" but he didn't exactly say they don't exist. I'm sure God could have said what he meant so I gotta assume there's more than just that one who wrote on the stone tablets.

There have been many hundreds of Gods, since the beginning of time. My God isn't Devine, Andy wasn't a God so far as I know. He was a pretty good movie actor, but that's as far as it goes.
I believe my favorite God is Woden. Sure the other Gods have fifty-two days per year in their honor, but I like Woden. Thor is okay, I guess.

I believe that all gods/goddesses are one. Every god that is worshipped is merely an aspect of "The One." Therefore, no one god is "divine." They are all part of the bigger picture (that most religious folks want to close thier minds to).

And, even better yet, I believe that in our many lives (yes...reincarnation!) we have the opportunity to make choices that will bring us closer to god...until we, too, are part of The One. We don't meet our god...we BECOME our god...as an aspect.

Don't bother asking me what religion I am....I don't have one. :-)

Good day!

You must bear in mind that there is only one Almighty God in the whole universe. I met the God in my dream, I saw a form of beautiful light and suddenly it resembled a smile and at a split of a second it vanished.

I have met MY GOD. You can have a personal relationship with God, and His son, Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 8:4-6:

So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that an idol is nothing at all in the world and that there is no God but one. For even if there are so called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as in deed there are many "gods" and many "lords"), yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.

I believe that there is just one Higher Being but that all of the religions of the world have adapted this Being to fit their needs. If you go back in history and look, all religions have the same basic principles and values just adapted to the region.

There are many gods. I would never try to convince you that my goddess, Isis, is the only divine one. But I would encourage you to watch for her in crowded places as the sun begins to move down in the West. If you are calm in your spirit, you will see her walking toward you.
