No, you can not deep fry in a crock pot. The temperature is not high enough.

First i dont think the oil would ever get hot enough and second usually the crock part of a crock part isnt very deep and i wouldnt want to risk getting burnt when the hot grease would splatter

No- a crock pot is for slow cooking and deep frying is cooking fast.

The call it a slow cooker for that reason. No fast cooking. Your oil would never get hot enough. Just buy a little fryer. They're not expensive.

nah just us a big pot and put oil and heat on stove high
and wait till oil is warm then fry food

I think it would take about 3 days to heat up your oil and by then, your food would be satuated in icky oil. I'd also think it would be a fire danger. I wouldn't try it.

No. It's not made for intense heat. The pot will crack.
