Because God=morality and law that they don't want to submit to. Pure arrogance.

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to those of us being saved it is the power of God.” (I Corinthians 1:18)

The Word of God is not tainted to the nonbeliever. Instead, it is hard to understand without spiritual guidance and leading of the Holy Spirit.

Much to the contrary, the Word of God washes us clean. Christ is a Fountain of Living Water. No matter what of this world has dirtied you with or what you have done. He and His Word can make you white as snow.

Sincerely read God's Word. Ask for His guidance and it will come alive. Sometimes its as if the ink on the pages isn't even dry yet.

God bless you.

Non-believers. Are doing what is nature. Because they have never accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. When a non-believer accepts Jesus Christ, their Heart and Eyes opens up to the word of God.

When a person gets saved, they become a creature in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new

God and god are not one and the same in meaning. An unbelieve who does not believe in God may find it even more difficult to understand the meaning of the word 'god'. Its not damaged by non believers who may be ignorant of it.

no. It's a word, it's in the dictionary. Actually, the bigger question is do believers really mean the same thing when two of them meet and invoke the name of any given god.

Are you a believer of God and obedient to His word? If so... try showing Him some respect and capitolize God.

I think that young people relate to God through their Father and secondly through loving Christian neighbors, if they have had a harsh and over-bearing Father and Bible bashing neighbors then it is very likely that God is a bad word to them and not by their own fault.
