it really depends on bone structure as much as height and weight. it's good that your hips seem to be in proportion to your chest, but here's a real way to tell: if your chest is perky and you have ankles and not much of a roll, you are voluptuous. if your chest is falling down towards your hips, your waist is nonexistent, and you don't have any ankles and a big belly roll, girl, you are fat. sorry. but hey-this is something that is fixable. at least you can diet and exercise to become thinner if you want to . but only do it if you want to. everyone is attractive to somebody out there.

You are definitely overweight. At 5'3" with a medium build the average weight should be around 115#. If you have a large build, the most you should weigh would be 125#.
You better watch your eating, as it will catch up with you, and if you gain even more weight, it will be harder than heck to get off.
Don't let people tell you that you are voluptous. Don't believe it. You would be voluptuous if you weighed 120# and had nice hips and a full bust.
You are a good 9 - 20 pounds overweight, depending upon your build.
Honestly, try to get the weight off asap. Sorry, I know you probably didn't want to hear what I had to say.
Good luck in the weight loss!

Well, technically you are quite overweight. If your waist measurement is more than 32 inches, that can put you at risk of developing diabetes and heart disease. There is nothing wrong with wide hips and full breasts, but if you carry to much fat around your abdomen, this is considered quite unhealthy. That said you, can still be voluptuous and overweight, if you have the hourglass figure with a small waist. HTH : )

You sound like you have a great figure! Check with any real doctor and you'll find that your weight is about perfect. If you want to loose a couple lbs, just cut out eating at night, and some sweets. Don't worry, be happy! :) Arum

It's all a matter of opinion. To men who tend to be attracted to larger women, you're voluptuous. They see your figure as beautiful and sexy. To men who prefer a slimmer woman, you're size is not as appealing. You cab be either/or it's up to you. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder what's important is what YOU think.

You are definitely not overweight. Ignore those who call you fat, because they honestly do not know what they are talking about. A woman is supposed to be curvy and have fat on her body. Today, it is often assumed that the skinnier someone is, the better, but that is not true.
I know girls who are about your height and weigh more than you, and they still aren't overweight. People are often times called fat by those that feel they need to make themselves thinner to be acceptable in their own eyes or in the eyes of society, and they are only trying to make themselves feel better about their own insecurities by putting you down. Ignore it, it doesn't mean anything.
Just be yourself =)

I think you are voluptuous and have big bones. How about your parents ? Maybe it is in your genes if she is also voluptuous.

That's a question you need to answer yourself. Look at yourself and ask yourself what you see. Do you love your curves? Or is it something you want to change?
Personally, I think you should embrace them! Smile and maintain good health okay?

It's hard to say without seeing you. I would say if you are comfortable with the weight that you are, maintain it, but if you are not , try to lose enough to make you feel good about yourself.

A very wise man once told me this
"Just because someone says something...doesn't make it true"
(Thanx, Dad)
It's how you feel about YOU that counts! You sound fine to me!
