How do you know your body fat percentage? Did you do the "dunk tank" analysis? Or did you go by some height-weight chart?

Tom Cruise, when he was really built, was deemed "obese." Ditto for Arnold Schwarzenegger, Barry Sanders, and the entire NFL. Dubya Bush is solidly overweight on those charts, as is Lance Armstrong.

The problem is that, when you're working out a lot, you get muscle mass. Muscles are a lot denser than fat, and therefore you can be much heavier and look much smaller than a person of the same weight who works out by opening potato chip bags. If you're working out a lot, then you've got some nice muscles, and probably nowhere near 23% in fat -- the only way to know for sure is to have the local sports medicine clinic, or top-notch training facility, do a dunk-tank test to measure you.

What you need to look for is the loss of inches in all the traditional fat deposits -- tummy, butt, saddle bags, and oh yeah, boobs.

And -- learn to accept and love the body that God has given you. An Olympic ice skater doesn't have the same body as an Olympic shot putter, but they are both beautiful, sexy bodies, and exactly what your creator intended them to be.

You definitely are not fat! I'm 4ft 11 inches and I have been 110 pounds, and at that weight, I wasn't fat. You are much taller than me and only one pound more than that. There is no way that you are fat. You aren't VERY skinny, which is a GOOD thing, woman aren't meant to be very skinny, they are meant to have some fat and curves.
It is good that you are eating normally, because that means that you will stay healthy.
When you work out, you can't expect to see results for a little while. You are slowly going to start losing more fat. It takes some time for your body to really start responding to the work outs. But like I said, I honestly don't think you need to worry about it.

No, not at all. Actually your weight and body fat percentage are considered to be ideal. It takes time to see changes in your body from exercise, it doesn't happen overnight. Keep up the good work! Take care : )

You're not fat, you're young. You still have time to get rid of baby fat. Just maintain a healthy diet and work out regularly and you should have no problem with weight as you get older. Don't stress it so much =]
