I would think long and hard before getting a tattoo especially a tribal band on your arm. You didn't say in your question if you have other tattoos, or what you do for a living. Having a tribal band on your arm could limit your career options if that matters. Also, I think that tribal tattoos are on the down slide, in other words so many people have gotten tribal tattoos that they are starting to be played out. If this is your first tattoo, I would start somewhere less noticeable and smaller than an arm band. There are other ways that you could show your support. Wear the team colors, temporary tattoos, etc. I guess you have to ask yourself the question is this something I want on my body for the rest of my life? Is it something I want to always show when I wear short sleeve shirts? Wil the chiefs always be this important to me? Hope that helps. btw...I have two tatoos-both of which I thought long and hard about and both strategically placed.

If you go to a formal cocktail party for work or a wedding you will you be proud for everyone to see your tattoo? My friend's daughter recently got married. She brought pictures over after the wedding and I was stunned. Here is this bride looking so beautiful in a gorgeous dress with a tribal tattoo on her arm. What comes to mind for you? It was very unattractive and I wondered if she regretted her tattoo on that day.

No. If you ever decide in the future someday to have it removed, cost lots of money.
