I met this girl and she and I had a great conversation, she is actually shy. We exchanged phone numbers. Then I msged her asked her out for and she replied back saying she's busy for the weekend.

Is it over and should i just move on? Is this the standard girl excuse? Please advise....

Kipy, relax. I think you may have moved a little too soon, but no worries, you can recover. It could be that she had plans, but it really doesn't matter. Just play it cool... LET HER CONTACT YOU! Even if it takes a week, let her contact you. Don't IM her don't call her, wait. I can't stress that enough. Even though she is shy, you hit the ball, and it is on her side of the court. If you go over and get it, then you might as well just play with yourself. When she does contact you, be cool, take it slow, build some trust, then suggest a fun activity you two could do together...sometime. Let her pick when. Good luck!

Nope. If she's an attractive lady her dance card might just be very full right now. Don't worry about it, she'l have one of those dry spells all women have and call the "nice guy" they met when she's not busy. When she does, inform her you'd love to but YOU'RE busy. It'll intrigue her enough to call back because she'll think she's interrupting some other woman.

No. Give it a chance, man. A week or so from now, call her up and suggest going to the movies, coffee or something strictly platonic. If she says she's busy again, you could ask her to suggest a time to get together when she's free. If she can't make plans on her terms, then she's not interested.

First you assert that this girl is shy, next you want her to respond immediately to your date call. Are you not sounding confused? Or should I say aren't you behaving over-enthusiastically?

Give her some time. Let her gain confidence in you. With your such overtures and fast track approach, I'm afraid you might lose her forever.

You can try again. She might REALLY be busy this weekend. Also you said she's shy. She might be a little nervous. Next time say you would like to get together with her the next time she's free. She what she says and how she acts about it.

If I really like you I would had say yes unless I had a really important thing to go to on that day. Just try to play it cool by asking her again. If she gives you another excuse, it's time to let go.

You should ask her out one more time and if she gives you another excuse you should move on.

She's probably telling you the truth. Try again for another time.
