Scansoft's Dragon Natually Speaking has an integration with so many other apps, it's worth the money. You can also find cracked versions for it if you wanted to try it first. It's got a great trainer program as well (how you train your computer to learn your voice and vocabulary).

Agreed - Dragon Naturally Speaking is pretty much the front runner, but there are other, more less expensive choices that will do the trick. I do hear that Windows Vista will have this feature, but I would not even touch Vista until at least next summer. You can do a google search on

voice recognition software

and look for some options that will suit your needs.

Dragon Naturally Speaking is pretty much the front-runner (http://www.nuance.com/naturallyspeaking/) although MS Word offers this feature as well.

Dragon Naturally Speaking will do this. Also, I believe IBM ViaVoice will too.

From what I've heard this feature will be built in to Vista, but I'm not absolute on that one.
