Pray, because we are being lied to. It's not about a war on terror. It's all about the winning of THIS secret "prize"!...

yes the troops should come home, they are and have been fighting a no win war, we are in and have been in a no win war for some time, the intellecutals of the country can see this and are trying to get the less intelligent to see it such as the president but you just can't fix stupid. The only solution is to take the troops out of iraq let the iraqi people rebuild their own country for just as they said today on "meet the people" it is now political and not military we need to show the iraq people that run the government that far from what our elected president says and far as I know he still works for the people we are not going to be there forever as he has said to the prime minister

Yes, I don't even think we should have started the war with Iraq in the first place. I still stand by that. However, I do wish the soliders good luck and safety. And a big thumbs up for trying:)

Do you personally have family there? If not, I really think you should stop regurgitating the same crap everyone else says. The troops can't leave; otherwise it will go back to the way it was. We will be there until the government can support its self. Oh, and trust me there is no way in hell the insurgents will kill "all" of the United States military. Grow up and get informed.

Supporting your troops does not mean bringing them home. It means supporting them in whatever job they're doing whether or not you agree with it. Questions like this only lower the morale of people overseas who take their job seriously (As most do.)
Sexylatin's response to this question was the best I've seen by far.
Stop believing everything the media tells you and open your eyes to a life outside the fishbowl.

Yes the time has come. Most of the experts agree Iraq is a failed nation. If the UN will not help us divide the nation among its waring factions then it is tilt game over.Did we learn anything from the Yugoslavia mess.Look at Serbia and Kosovo today. For Iraq the Kurds are the people of Kosovo.President Bush learn from history and do the right thing.

I think you should grow up and look at the way the world works. When I was younger I thought such simplistic answers could cure all, but it really would eventually make things worse.

If we are so concerned about giving them Democracy and Freeing them.. then why don't we let them vote... we could put the vote at a higher majority... maybe like 70%-give the people that we are trying to give Democracy to, and trying to free them and give them their country.. let them have the say whether or not we should be there
