I am 14 years old 5 foot with green eyes and I'm also quite thin i weigh 42 kilos. I just wonder why I never get anyone that I like? What type of girls do you boys prefer?

This will sound wierd.
In the pre-highschool time (8th grade+), guys will then forget about anything, then they will look at a girl's proportions.
The two ratios are butt to boob and height to mass.
First is the butt to boob. In this ratio, guys will compare the girl's butt size to their breasts, and if they are both big, Operation Harrasment.
The height:mass ratio compares a girl's height to their mass (if in the U.S., weight). Somehow, that turd that implied the word twig in here used this ratio. If, by eyes, the girl looks to be unproportional in terms if height to mass, then consider it not happening.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...different strokes for different folks. T.V. tries to portray what "we" all want, but the fact is, there is no figuring out what each individual is attracted to on base of look etc. There have been studies and books written on the subject of "attractive nature" and what makes a person attractive. Understand that looks is only a small part of the deal...if at all. Initially, it may draw lookers on a person, but overall, it is the process thereafter, the connecting on a spiritual, chemical and intellectual level that makes us attracted to others---Hollywood just can't mimic it-poor things. Anyway, try reading instead of watching t.v.--you will learn much. Understand that you hold the power of confidence which draws people to you. Don't cheapen yourself buying things that you think will make you better for someone else-YOU make you better for you. Focus on your education and succeeding, give your time to helping others. When the time is right, you and your soulmate will cross paths. Be kind and patient to others, for we are all on varying realms in this lifetime. Hold your judgement as to what we and others have as these are only material objects. They mean nothing and are nothing, the power is in how you treat others...remember, we are not certain how we are connected on the otherside. Peace to you.

14 is an awkward age for both girls and boys. You are still a little young to be worrying about such things. Don't try so hard. Boys in your age group tend to be shy. You will get someone whom you like when the time is right. Now is a time to concentrate on your studies. The boys will come later. Be patient.

You're only 14, u shouldn't worry about such things.
I am 24 and all through high school I never got the boys I wanted, my best friend did. I didn't understand because I would consider myself prettier than her and I've come to understand (with the help of my husband) that boys are intimidated with beautiful girls. It was easier for them to go for my friend, which was not so pretty so maybe that's your problem. Keep your head up!!

At your age, you should be thinking and talking about your studies. Well, boys like varies from each other. Some like small girls like you why other will prefer matured and good looking girls, etc.

Maybe you'd be more inclined to spend less time on superficial interests if you knew how many young women like yourself have been victims of violent crimes due to picking the "wrong" partner based on just such a thing.

Sweetheart, looks only go so far - guys like girls they can talk to and have a laugh with. Don't hide in a corner thinking about why they do come to you - be confident and talk to them - make them laugh and you've got 'em! :)

Boys like girls who are nice to them but not too anxious and crazy about it. Be there as someone to talk to and don't dominate the conversations. You sound like you look like my first girlfriend in high school, so don't worry about your looks.
